Exploration of Forests

Forest resources are one of the main sources of satisfying the population’s basic needs, including the guarantee of wood fuels, construction materials, domestic utensils, medicines and food.

Forest exploration in the country is carried out under three (3) regimes:

  • Own consumption;
  • Simple license and;
  • Forest concession.
