Located in Pebane and Gilé, part of the Zambézia Province, Gilé National Park was first proclaimed a Partial Game Reserve in 1932.
The forests, plains and riverine vegetation, are home to hundreds of species of birds, reptiles and amphibians, bringing its landscape to life. Large animals such as elephants, lions and leopards can be observed on safaris across the savannah.
With Pebane and Moebasse beaches near Gurué, and the Island of Mozambique, the Park is a must stop for those who love to be close to nature.
