Protected Areas and the Protection of Elephants in Mozambique, aiming at the strengthening and management of protected areas and the protection of wildlife, especially elephants.
Implementation: National Administration of Conservation Areas, Limpopo National Park and Niassa National Reserve
Its main objectives are the following:
- Improve the effectiveness of surveillance services and fight against poaching in the Limpopo National Park (PNL) and in the Niassa Special Reserve, therefore, the areas most affected by poaching;
- Strengthen the National Administration (ANAC) in the fight against poaching;
- Consolidate the technical and operational capacities of the Foundation for the Conservation of Biodiversity in Mozambique.
